Melo Seltzer Review 2026: Low-Dose THC Seltzers That Test on Label
Melo makes hemp-derived delta 9 THC seltzers in two strengths, 5 mg and 10 mg per can, in Strawberry Mango, Grapefruit, Wild Berries and a Half & Half lemonade iced tea, plus a raspberry "Dream Drops" THC and CBD gummy. The brand was launched by Flora Growth with Peak Processing and reached Total Wine shelves in December 2024.
What we like most: the lab reports match the label almost exactly. A 10 mg can tested at 9.96 mg of delta 9 THC and a 5 mg can at 4.94 mg, which is the kind of consistency you want from a drink you may sip socially.
The Short Verdict
MCR Score: 8.0/10. Melo is a simple, well-made THC seltzer: two sensible strengths, light fruit flavors and lab results that land within a few hundredths of a milligram of the label. At $20 for a 6-pack of 5 mg cans it is also one of the more affordable THC drinks we have priced.
Points off for a thin website: there is no published list of states Melo will not ship to, no free-shipping threshold, and its age wording ("18 or 21 depending on state law") is vaguer than we like. Several pack sizes were out of stock when we checked, and its Trustpilot profile has only two reviews.
Start with the 5 mg can
Drinks can take 15 to 45 minutes to kick in, and it is easy to reach for a second can too early. A 5 mg Melo is a sensible first dose for most adults; wait at least an hour before having more.

Our Picks
5 mg Variety Pack, 6-pack
$20 for six cans across the flavors is the cheapest way to find the one you like, at a dose most people can handle.
10 mg seltzers
For experienced drinkers, the 10 mg cans come in 4-packs at $23.99 or a variety pack. One 10 mg can is a full adult dose: do not treat it like a beer.
Lab Testing
Melo links its certificates of analysis from a Lab Reports page. The reports we opened came from Anresco Laboratories in San Francisco, an ISO 17025-accredited lab: a Strawberry Mango 10 mg can measured 9.96 mg of delta 9 THC, and a Grapefruit 5 mg can measured 4.94 mg. That is within about 1% of the label on both, better than most edibles we check. See our COA guide for what else to look for.
Shipping, Age and Returns
Ground, 5 to 7 days
Rates depend on zone and weight, and there is no published free-shipping threshold or list of excluded states. Check your state's rules on hemp THC drinks before ordering.
18 or 21, depending on state
Melo's FAQ says only that buyers must be 18 or 21 depending on state law. We recommend treating THC drinks as 21+ everywhere.
30 days, unopened
Unopened products can be returned within 30 days; you pay return shipping.
The Federal Hemp Change and THC Drinks
Melo's site does not mention the 2025 federal change.
What changes on December 11, 2026
Public Law 119-37 removes from the federal definition of hemp any finished product with more than 0.4 mg of total THC per container, and H.R. 6500 moved most of that change to December 11, 2026. Every Melo can (5 or 10 mg) is above that line, as are almost all hemp THC drinks. Follow our federal hemp deadline tracker and state-by-state guide.
How Melo Compares
Against other THC drinks we review, Melo is the budget, low-dose pick. Vena offers more drink styles, and Extract Labs' Sojourn pairs 10 mg THC with 10 mg CBD per can at $34.99 for a 4-pack. If you would rather not drink your THC, see our best delta 9 gummies.
