Best CBN Gummies 2026: Seven Sleep Gummies Compared

CBN (cannabinol) is a mild cannabinoid that forms as THC ages, and it has become the headline ingredient in hemp sleep gummies. We compared seven CBN gummies on how much CBN each contains, whether it adds THC, CBD or other sleep ingredients, and what a night actually costs.

Our short version: Medterra Better Sleep has the most CBN with no THC, Slumber Pure Sleep is the fast-acting THC-free alternative, Slumber Deep Zzzs is the best full-spectrum option, and Lazarus Naturals is the cheapest way to try CBN. The research on CBN is early and mixed, so we explain that too.

Our Picks at a Glance

Most CBN, No THC

Medterra Better Sleep TruCBN Gummies

50 mg CBN and 10 mg CBD per gummy, THC-free and melatonin-free, with L-theanine, chamomile, lemon balm, passionflower and 5-HTP. $39.99 for 20, or about $1.70 a night in the 60-count.

Fast-Acting, No THC

Slumber Pure Sleep Fast-Acting CBN Gummies

20 mg CBN per gummy, zero THC and no melatonin, plus a 483 mg blend of lemon balm, tart cherry, L-theanine, chamomile and 5-HTP. $60 for 30, or $30 for a first jar through Slumber's offer page.

Best Full Spectrum

Slumber Deep Zzzs Gummies

25 mg CBD, 8 mg CBN and 3 mg THC per gummy; Extra Strength is 40/15/5 mg. $60 for 30 ($64 Extra Strength). The offer page shows $30 for a first subscription order or $42 one-time.

Best Value

Lazarus Naturals CBD+CBN Sleep Gummies

15 mg CBD and 10 mg CBN per gummy, full spectrum with about 1 to 1.5 mg THC per two gummies. $12 for 10 or $40 for 40, the lowest price per night here.

For context, CBN doses in these gummies range from 5 mg to 50 mg. The largest CBN sleep trial used 20 mg, Medterra cites its own study of 50 mg, and the only lab sleep study found its benefits at 300 mg, six times the strongest gummy here.

1. Medterra Better Sleep TruCBN Gummies: Most CBN, No THC

MCR Score: 8.6/10. Medterra's Better Sleep gummies carry the most CBN we found: 50 mg of its TruCBN per gummy, plus 10 mg of CBD isolate, 100 mg of L-theanine, 50 mg each of chamomile, lemon balm and passionflower, and 10 mg of 5-HTP. They contain no THC and no melatonin, and Medterra says to take one about 30 minutes before bed.

Medterra says a study found 50 mg of TruCBN improved sleep compared with placebo, with results comparable to 4 mg of melatonin; that is the company's summary of its own research, not something we have reviewed. A 20-count jar is $39.99 (about $2 a night), dropping to about $1.70 a night in the 60-count. Like Pure Sleep, it contains 5-HTP, so ask a doctor before combining it with antidepressants. Read our Medterra review.

2. Slumber Pure Sleep: Best Fast-Acting THC-Free CBN Gummy

MCR Score: 8.5/10. Pure Sleep has 20 mg of CBN per gummy, with no THC and no melatonin. Slumber adds a 483 mg "Stay Asleep Complex" of lemon balm, CherryPURE tart cherry, L-theanine, chamomile and 5-HTP, and says its water-soluble "TiME INFUSION" technology helps it act in 5 to 15 minutes. That onset figure is Slumber's own claim.

Know before you buy: 5-HTP affects serotonin, so do not combine Pure Sleep with antidepressants or other serotonergic medicines without asking a doctor or pharmacist. The regular price is $60 for 30 vanilla blueberry gummies; Slumber's offer page shows a first jar for $30 as a one-time purchase, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Read our full Slumber review.

3. Slumber Deep Zzzs: Best Full-Spectrum CBN Gummy

MCR Score: 8.5/10. Deep Zzzs is Slumber's best seller, with more than 2,100 reviews on its page: 25 mg CBD, 8 mg CBN and 3 mg THC per gummy, melatonin-free. The Extra Strength version raises that to 40 mg CBD, 15 mg CBN and 5 mg THC for $64. Slumber suggests one gummy 30 to 60 minutes before bed, or half if you are sensitive to THC.

The 3 mg of THC is a low dose, but it can still show up on a drug test and it means Deep Zzzs falls under the federal hemp change (see below). Slumber's offer page shows the first order at $30 on a subscription, or $42 as a one-time purchase.

4. Koi THC + CBN + CBD Gummies: Strongest Full-Spectrum Option

MCR Score: 8.2/10. Koi's black cherry sleep gummies combine 10 mg CBN, 25 mg full-spectrum CBD and 5 mg of delta 9 THC per gummy, 30 to a jar for $39.99, with 60- and 120-count sizes. Koi offers a 90-day guarantee and free shipping over $69, and its site was advertising 55% off with code BUNDLEME during its pre-deadline sale when we checked.

5 mg of THC is enough to feel for many people, so start with half a gummy if you are new to THC, and do not drive afterward. With 150 mg of THC per jar, these fall squarely under the federal hemp change. See our Koi review.

5. Extract Labs PM Formula CBN + CBD: Best Organic-Brand Option

MCR Score: 8.0/10. Extract Labs' PM Formula pairs CBD and CBN in a 3:1 ratio; its product description lists 30 gummies a bottle with 10 mg of CBN and 30 mg of CBD each. The page sells a THC Free version made with broad-spectrum hemp extract (elderberry, with an allulose-sweetened option) alongside a regular version, and parts of the page still describe the full-spectrum formula. If you are drug tested, choose the THC Free option and check its batch report. Extract Labs suggests half to one gummy 30 to 60 minutes before bed.

It costs $69.99, or $52.49 on subscription, and Extract Labs also sells CBN + delta 9 sleep gummies for the same price. Its discount program for veterans, first responders, teachers and others can cut prices further. Read our Extract Labs review.

6. Lazarus Naturals CBD+CBN Sleep Gummies: Best Value

MCR Score: 8.0/10. At $12 for a 10-count pack, Lazarus is the cheapest way to find out whether CBN works for you. Each lemon mango gummy has 15 mg CBD and 10 mg CBN, and the label lists about 1 to 1.5 mg THC per two-gummy serving. The 40-count jar is $40, and Lazarus's Assistance Program takes 40% off gummies for veterans, people on long-term disability and low-income households.

Lazarus also sells a CBD+CBN sleep tincture with 30 mg CBD and 20 mg CBN per serving ($40 for 30 mL). Read our Lazarus Naturals review.

7. MONTKUSH True Sleep: Lowest-Dose CBN

MCR Score: 7.5/10. MONTKUSH's True Sleep gummies are gentle: 5 mg CBN, 25 mg CBD and 1 mg THC each, $59.99 for 30 or $109.99 for 60. They suit people who want a light nudge rather than a strong sleep aid. MONTKUSH's site was showing a "Final Batch" warning when we checked, saying some products may not be available after federal restrictions take effect. See our MONTKUSH review.

Also Worth a Look: Two More CBN Gummies

Two CBN gummies we checked on October 26, 2026, after the ranking above was set. We list them here rather than in the ranking until we have compared them against the seven above on every measure.

Organic Brand

Joy Organics CBD Sleep Gummies

30 mg CBD, 3 mg CBN and 1 mg THC per gummy, 30 per jar for $49.95, from a brand with USDA-certified organic hemp extract and a 90-day guarantee. Full spectrum, so the federal THC change below applies.

THC-Free, With Melatonin

Redeem Therapeutics CBD Sleep Gummies

Broad-spectrum and THC-free, with CBN, melatonin and botanicals (lemon balm, passion flower, chamomile). The page lists 25 mg CBD, 10 mg CBN and 10 mg melatonin without saying whether that is per gummy or per two-gummy serving, so check the label; that is a high melatonin dose either way. $12.99 for 10 or $43.99 for 60; 30% off on subscription.

What the Research on CBN Shows

The largest trial (Bonn-Miller and colleagues, published in Experimental and Clinical Psychopharmacology) gave 321 adults with poor sleep either a placebo, 20 mg of CBN, or 20 mg of CBN with 10 to 100 mg of CBD for a week. CBN alone did not improve overall sleep quality compared with placebo, but it cut night-time awakenings by about half a waking per night and reduced sleep disturbance scores. Adding CBD did not make it work better. The researchers worked for Canopy Growth, a cannabis company, and sleep was self-reported.

The only sleep-lab study (Journal of Sleep Research, 2026) gave 20 adults with diagnosed insomnia a single night of placebo, 30 mg or 300 mg of CBN. Neither dose changed time awake after falling asleep, the main measure. The 300 mg dose, six times the CBN in the strongest gummy here, shortened the time to fall asleep and improved how people rated their sleep.

Our take: CBN may help a little with staying asleep, but the evidence is thin, short-term and mostly self-reported. Treat a CBN gummy as a mild aid, try it for a week or two, and keep the basics of good sleep in place.

The Federal THC Change and CBN Gummies

Which of these gummies are affected

Under the federal hemp rewrite, products with more than 0.4 mg of total THC per container lose hemp status, and most of that change now takes effect on December 11, 2026. A jar of Koi's CBN gummies, Deep Zzzs, MONTKUSH True Sleep or Lazarus's sleep gummies contains well over that. Medterra Better Sleep, Slumber Pure Sleep and the THC Free option of Extract Labs' PM gummies are labeled THC-free; Extract Labs' regular version is not.

Whether CBN itself will count toward the limit depends on a list of THC-like cannabinoids the FDA has not yet published. Follow our federal hemp deadline tracker for updates.

How to Choose a CBN Gummy

  • Decide on THC first. If you are drug tested or want no THC, choose Medterra Better Sleep, Slumber Pure Sleep or the THC Free option of Extract Labs' PM gummies. Even 1 to 5 mg of THC a night can show up on a test.
  • Compare CBN milligrams, not marketing. CBN per gummy here ranges from 5 mg to 50 mg.
  • Check the extras. 5-HTP (in Medterra Better Sleep and Slumber Pure Sleep) can interact with antidepressants; none of these seven list melatonin.
  • Start low. Take one gummy, or half, 30 to 60 minutes before bed, and do not drive or use machinery afterward.
  • Ask about interactions. CBD and CBN can interact with some medicines, including blood thinners and sedatives. Check with a pharmacist if you take prescription drugs, and avoid them if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

CBN Gummies FAQ

Does CBN make you sleepy?

Some people find it relaxing, and the largest trial found 20 mg of CBN reduced night-time awakenings slightly. But it did not improve overall sleep quality compared with placebo, so effects are modest.

Will CBN gummies get me high?

CBN is only mildly psychoactive at the doses in gummies. Gummies with THC, such as Koi's (5 mg), Deep Zzzs (3 mg) or MONTKUSH True Sleep (1 mg), can cause effects in people sensitive to THC.

Will CBN show up on a drug test?

Standard drug tests look for THC metabolites, not CBN, but full-spectrum CBN gummies contain THC that can trigger a positive result. Choose a THC-free gummy if you are tested. See our drug test guide.

How much CBN should I take?

Follow the label. The gummies here contain 5 mg to 50 mg of CBN; the largest independent trial used 20 mg. Start with one gummy or less and adjust over several nights.

Is CBN better than melatonin?

They work differently and have not been compared head to head in independent research. Melatonin has more research for shifting sleep timing; CBN's evidence is limited. None of the seven gummies here contains melatonin.
