Best CBD gummies for sleep
Most CBD sleep gummies pair CBD with melatonin, CBN or both. Melatonin has the stronger evidence for falling asleep; CBN is newer and less studied. If melatonin leaves you groggy, choose a lower dose or a melatonin-free CBN gummy.
CBDfx Sleep with Melatonin: best CBD gummy for sleep
Our highest-rated sleep gummy pairs a full 25 mg of broad-spectrum CBD with melatonin, magnesium and passion flower, at the same 3.7¢ per mg as CBDfx’s daytime gummies. One caution: CBDfx’s page lists melatonin per two-gummy serving in one place and per gummy in another, so start with one.
Koi Nighttime Rest: a lower melatonin dose
A gentler sleep gummy: 10 mg of broad-spectrum CBD and 2.5 mg of melatonin per piece, so you can take one or two. THC is listed as not detectable. The 10-count is an inexpensive way to try it.
Medterra Sleep Tight: best THC-free sleep gummy
The pick if you want a sleep gummy and cannot risk a drug test: CBD isolate with a moderate 3 mg of melatonin and a non-detect THC lab report.
Best CBD sleep gummies without melatonin
Slumber Deep Zzzs: best melatonin-free sleep gummy
Slumber builds its sleep gummy around CBN instead of melatonin, with a small dose of THC. The THC means it is not for anyone drug tested; Slumber’s Pure Sleep (20 mg CBN, THC-free) is the alternative.
Extract Labs CBN + CBD PM Formula: most CBN per gummy
The highest CBN dose here. Extract Labs’ product page calls it full spectrum while its store listing calls it THC-free, so check the batch lab report if THC matters to you.
More sleep options: Joy Organics Sleep (30 mg CBD, 3 mg CBN and 1 mg THC; Joy’s copy also mentions 3 mg melatonin), FabCBD Sleep (12.5 mg CBD + 2.5 mg melatonin, $21 for 60 at member pricing), Charlotte’s Web Sleep (10 mg CBD + 3 mg melatonin per two-gummy serving) and JustCBD Sleep (jars from $19.99). Compare every CBN option in our best CBN gummies guide.
Best CBD gummies for stress and anxiety
CBD is not approved to treat anxiety, and the studies that found an effect used far larger doses than one gummy (see what the evidence says). People who use CBD to take the edge off a stressful day usually want a daytime gummy with no THC and an easy-to-adjust dose. These are the ones we would start with.
CBDfx Original Mixed Berry: best daytime CBD gummy
Consistent 25 mg dosing, no THC to cloud your day, and the lowest cost per milligram among our top picks.
Koi Anytime Balance: easiest to adjust
At 10 mg a piece you can take one, two or three and find your own level, and the 10-count costs little to try.
Soul CBD Gummies: zero THC
Isolate gummies with no THC at all, for people who are drug tested or simply want CBD on its own.
If anxiety affects your daily life, talk to a clinician; CBD can interact with some anxiety and sleep medications.
Best CBD gummies for pain
Evidence that oral CBD relieves pain in people is limited, and pain specialists do not endorse cannabinoids for pain in general [5]. If you want to try a gummy for aches, people tend to choose higher-strength or full-spectrum options; for a specific sore spot, a CBD cream or balm lets you apply it where it hurts.
MONTKUSH True Daily 50mg: highest dose without THC
Twice the CBD of most gummies in one piece, without THC. MONTKUSH was advertising a “final batch” when we checked.
Extract Labs Daily Support: 50 mg full spectrum, organic
A strong full-spectrum gummy from a certified organic brand; contains trace THC.
Medterra Max Relief: CBD with a little THC
A low dose of THC alongside the CBD, with batch lab reports via QR code. Not for anyone drug tested.
Best THC-free CBD gummies (no THC)
“THC-free” covers two kinds of gummy. Isolate gummies contain CBD alone; broad-spectrum gummies remove THC but keep other hemp compounds, and are usually labelled “non-detectable THC”, meaning below the lab’s limit rather than zero. If you are drug tested, isolate is the safer choice.
- Zero THC (isolate): Soul CBD Gummies, Medterra Sleep Tight and FabCBD Anytime.
- THC not detectable (broad spectrum): CBDfx Original, Joy Organics THC-Free, MONTKUSH True Daily and Koi Anytime Balance.
Best full-spectrum CBD gummies
Full-spectrum gummies keep the hemp plant’s other cannabinoids, including a little THC, which some people prefer for the “entourage effect”. They can show up on a drug test.
- CBDfx Full Spectrum Mixed Berry: 25 mg CBD and about 1.5 mg THC per gummy, 3.7¢ per mg. MCR score 9.4.
- Koi Complete Full Spectrum: 25 mg CBD and 5 mg THC per gummy; 4.3¢ per mg in the 120-count. Out of stock when we checked.
- Extract Labs Daily Support: 50 mg, USDA Organic.
- Vena Full Spectrum CBD Bites: 25 mg CBD and 2 mg THC, $37.46 on subscription; sold out when we checked.
Strongest CBD gummies
Most CBD gummies hold 10 to 25 mg. The strongest we have reviewed carry 50 mg per gummy: MONTKUSH True Daily (broad spectrum, no detectable THC) and Extract Labs Daily Support (full spectrum, organic). Joy Organics also makes a 50 mg THC-free gummy. A 50 mg gummy is not a starting dose; try a 25 mg gummy first.
Best cheap CBD gummies: cost per milligram
The sticker price misleads in this category. A $14 jar can cost four times as much per milligram as a $55 one. These are the lowest one-time prices per milligram of CBD we found on October 26, 2026:
| Gummy | Price | Total CBD | Cost per mg |
|---|---|---|---|
| FabCBD Anytime (member price) | $17.06 | 750 mg | 2.3¢ |
| CBDfx Original, Full Spectrum or Sleep | $54.99 | 1,500 mg | 3.7¢ |
| MONTKUSH True Daily 50mg | $59.99 | 1,500 mg | 4.0¢ |
| Extract Labs Daily Support | $59.99 | 1,500 mg | 4.0¢ |
| Koi Complete, 120 count | $129.99 | 3,000 mg | 4.3¢ |
| Joy Organics THC-Free 50 mg | $69.95 | 1,500 mg | 4.7¢ |
| Soul CBD Gummies 25 mg | $40.00 | 750 mg | 5.3¢ |
Subscriptions cut most of these by 20 to 25%, and FabCBD’s prices depend on its paid membership. For live discounts, see our CBD Black Friday deals.
Best organic and vegan CBD gummies
- USDA certified organic: Joy Organics THC-Free (also vegan) and Extract Labs Daily Support (also vegan).
- Vegan: CBDfx’s gummies are vegan and made with organic hemp; Koi’s Nighttime Rest and Anytime Balance are certified vegan; Slumber’s gummies are vegan.
Best CBD gummies with THC
Some “CBD gummies” deliberately include THC. Five Daily Buzz carries 5 mg of THC with 25 mg of CBD, enough to get most people high; Medterra Max Relief and Vena’s Bites carry 2 mg; Koi Complete carries 5 mg. Products like these exceed the 0.4 mg-per-container federal cap that takes effect on December 11, 2026. For THC-forward gummies, see our best THC gummies and best delta 9 gummies guides.
Do CBD gummies work? What the evidence says
CBD gummies are sold for sleep, stress and aches, but the research behind those uses is thinner than the marketing. Here is what is known, in plain terms.
For sleep
In a 2019 case series of 72 adults taking mostly 25 mg of CBD a day, about two-thirds reported better sleep in the first month, but the scores fluctuated afterwards [3]. Melatonin has more evidence for falling asleep, which is why most sleep gummies add it.
For stress and anxiety
The same case series found lower anxiety scores in most participants in the first month [3]. A lab study of a simulated public-speaking test found that 300 mg of CBD reduced anxiety while 150 mg and 600 mg did not [4]. That is far more than one gummy. CBD is not FDA-approved for anxiety [1].
For pain
The International Association for the Study of Pain does not endorse cannabinoids for pain in general, citing a lack of high-quality human studies [5]. Some people still choose CBD for aches; for a sore spot, a CBD cream or topical is another option.
The one FDA-approved CBD medicine, Epidiolex, treats rare seizure disorders at doses far above any gummy [1]. Label accuracy is a separate problem: when researchers tested 84 CBD products bought online, 26% contained less CBD than the label said and 43% contained more [6]. That is why we check for batch lab reports before ranking a gummy.
How to choose CBD gummies
Full spectrum, broad spectrum or isolate?
Full spectrum keeps all the hemp compounds, including some THC. Broad spectrum removes the THC but keeps other compounds. Isolate is CBD alone. If you are drug tested, choose isolate; if you want the “entourage effect” and THC is fine, choose full spectrum. See our full guide to the three types.
How many mg of CBD per gummy?
Most gummies hold 10 to 25 mg. Start with 10 to 25 mg if you are new. A 50 mg gummy such as MONTKUSH or Extract Labs saves you taking two, but it is not a starting dose. Judge strength per gummy, not the jar total.
Check the lab report (COA)
A certificate of analysis should name the lab, match your batch number, and show CBD, THC and contaminant results. Brands that only post a generic PDF score lower with us. Our guide to reading a COA shows what to look for.
Compare cost per milligram
Divide the price by the total CBD in the jar. A $55 jar of 60 × 25 mg (1,500 mg) works out to about 3.7¢ per mg; a $14 jar of 10 × 10 mg is 14¢ per mg, nearly four times as much. Subscriptions and member pricing can halve the figure.
Melatonin or CBN for sleep?
Melatonin doses in sleep gummies range from 2.5 mg to 5 mg or more. If higher doses leave you groggy, pick a lower one, such as Charlotte’s Web at 3 mg. CBN gummies are an alternative, though research on CBN for sleep is early. Compare them in our best CBN gummies guide.
The December 11 federal change
From December 11, 2026, the federal hemp definition caps total THC at 0.4 mg per container. Most full-spectrum gummies, and any gummy with added THC, are far above that. THC-free broad-spectrum and isolate gummies are the ones most likely to stay on sale. Follow the dates in our federal hemp THC deadline tracker.
How many CBD gummies should I take?
Start with one gummy of 10 to 25 mg, take it at the same time each day, and give it a week before deciding whether to change the dose. Many regular users settle between 20 and 50 mg a day. Wait at least two hours before taking a second gummy, since edibles are slow to work. If you take other medication, especially blood thinners or drugs processed by the liver, ask a doctor or pharmacist first [1]. This is general information, not medical advice.

How we picked the best CBD gummies
Dose you can trust
A clear CBD figure per gummy, and a batch lab report (COA) that backs it up. Brands with only a generic or undated PDF score lower.
THC, stated plainly
We record whether a gummy is isolate, broad or full spectrum and how much THC it contains, because that decides drug-test risk and legality.
Price per milligram
We divide the one-time price by the total CBD in the jar, and date every price because they change often.
We have used a number of these gummies ourselves, mostly from the brands we reviewed first. Every pick is also researched from its label, the brand’s lab reports and its listed price, and our newer additions are research reviews based on those documents. We do not rank by commission. Our full process is on How We Review.
CBD Gummies FAQ
What are the best CBD gummies?
Our top pick for 2026 is CBDfx Original Mixed Berry: 25 mg of broad-spectrum CBD per gummy, vegan, with no THC, and one of the lowest costs per milligram we found. For sleep we rate CBDfx Sleep with melatonin highest; for zero THC, Soul’s isolate gummies; for the strongest dose, MONTKUSH True Daily at 50 mg; and for organic, Joy Organics and Extract Labs.
Do CBD gummies work?
It depends on what you want them for. The FDA has approved one CBD drug, Epidiolex, for rare seizure disorders; it has not approved CBD for sleep, stress or pain. Human studies on those uses are small. In a 2019 case series of 72 adults, most reported lower anxiety scores in the first month and about two-thirds reported better sleep at first, though sleep scores fluctuated. Many people find a gummy helps them wind down, but the evidence is not strong enough to promise it.
Will CBD gummies get you high?
Not from the CBD, which is non-intoxicating. Broad-spectrum and isolate gummies are made to contain no measurable THC. Full-spectrum gummies contain small amounts of THC, and some, like Five Daily Buzz at 5 mg per gummy, contain enough to get most people high. Read the THC figure on the label, not the word “CBD” on the jar.
How many CBD gummies should I take?
Most people start with one gummy of 10 to 25 mg and wait a few hours before taking more. Many regular users settle between 20 and 50 mg a day. Follow the serving size on the label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take other medication, because CBD can change how some drugs are processed.
How long do CBD gummies take to work, and how long do they last?
Because a gummy is digested, it usually takes 30 to 90 minutes to notice anything, and longer on a full stomach. Effects from an edible generally last several hours, longer than from a vape or tincture held under the tongue.
What are the best CBD gummies for sleep?
We rate CBDfx Sleep with melatonin highest, Koi Nighttime Rest for a moderate 5 mg of melatonin per serving, and Charlotte’s Web Sleep for a low 3 mg. If you want to avoid melatonin, look at CBN gummies such as Slumber or Extract Labs’ CBN + CBD. Melatonin has better evidence for falling asleep than CBD does.
What are the best CBD gummies for anxiety and stress?
CBD is not approved to treat anxiety. For everyday stress, people usually choose a THC-free daytime gummy: CBDfx Original (25 mg), Soul (isolate, zero THC) or Koi Anytime Balance (10 mg, easy to adjust). Studies that found an effect on anxiety used much larger single doses than one gummy. If anxiety affects your daily life, talk to a clinician.
Do CBD gummies show up on a drug test?
Drug tests look for THC, not CBD. Full-spectrum gummies contain THC that can build up with daily use and cause a positive result. Isolate gummies such as Soul or Medterra Sleep Tight carry the least risk. “Non-detectable THC” means below the lab’s limit, not zero, so if a test matters for your job, choose isolate and keep the batch lab report.
Are CBD gummies legal?
Today, hemp-derived CBD gummies are federally legal at no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, though some states restrict them. That changes on December 11, 2026, when the new federal definition caps total THC at 0.4 mg per container. Most full-spectrum gummies are far above that. See our federal deadline tracker for the latest.
Are CBD gummies safe? What are the side effects?
The FDA warns that CBD can cause liver injury, interact with other medications, and cause drowsiness, diarrhoea and mood changes, and that its effects in pregnancy are unknown. Lab tests also find that some CBD products contain more or less CBD than the label says. Buy from brands that publish batch lab reports, and check with a doctor if you take other medication.
Full spectrum vs broad spectrum vs isolate: which is best?
Full spectrum keeps all the hemp compounds, including a little THC. Broad spectrum removes the THC but keeps other compounds. Isolate is CBD alone. Full spectrum suits people who want the “entourage effect” and can have THC; broad spectrum is the middle ground; isolate is the safest choice if you are drug tested.
Can you take CBD gummies every day?
Many people do. Long-term daily use has not been studied well, and the FDA has said CBD raises safety concerns, especially with long-term use, including possible liver harm and interactions with other medications. Keep to the label dose, and talk to a clinician if you plan to use it every day.
Can you bring CBD gummies on a plane?
For US domestic flights, TSA says products containing hemp-derived CBD that meet the federal THC limit, or that are FDA-approved, are allowed. Rules at your destination still apply, and other countries can treat CBD very differently, so do not fly internationally with it without checking.
Do CBD gummies expire?
Yes. Most carry a best-by date one to two years from manufacture. Store them sealed, cool and out of sunlight. Old gummies are unlikely to be harmful, but they can lose potency and texture.
Is there a CBD gummy coupon code?
Code CBD15LIFE takes 15% off CBDfx, and Joy Organics offers 20% off a first order with WELCOME20. Black Friday is November 27, 2026; we track live CBD sales on our CBD Black Friday deals page.
