The six things that actually matter
1. Milligrams per piece
This is the only number you dose with. Divide the jar total by the piece count every single time. A 4000mg jar and a 300mg jar can contain the same amount per gummy.
2. Piece count
Count drives value. A 60-count jar at $99 beats a 20-count jar at $40 on cost per milligram, even though it looks more expensive on the shelf.
3. Which cannabinoid
Delta 9 is the more potent isomer per milligram. Delta 8 is marketed as milder. THCP appears in blends and is potent in very small amounts. The label should name them individually.
4. Extract type
Distillate, live resin and live rosin describe how the extract was made, not how strong it is. Live rosin is solventless. Both live products usually carry a price premium.
5. Batch lab reports
A certificate of analysis matching the batch code on your jar is the only meaningful one. Generic PDFs and “lab tested” badges are not the same thing.
6. Shipping exclusions
Hemp THC is regulated state by state. Brands maintain their own exclusion lists and change them often. Check before you order, not after.
How to work out what you are actually buying
Take the jar total, divide by the piece count, and write the result down. Then check whether that per-piece figure includes every cannabinoid or only one. Then find the batch certificate of analysis and confirm the batch code matches your jar. Finally, divide the price by the total milligrams to get cost per milligram, which is the only fair way to compare a $19.99 jar against a $99.00 one. Edibles infused with tetrahydrocannabinol, usually Delta 9 THC or Delta 8 THC derived from hemp. What is a ratio gummy?

Does “extra strength” mean anything?
No, it is not a regulated term. Some brands use it for higher-dose versions of the same flavour; others use it for multi-cannabinoid blends. Read the panel rather than the badge.
Are THC gummies legal where I live?
Federally, hemp at or below 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight is treated differently from marijuana. States regulate hemp THC separately and several restrict or ban it.
