What is actually in a Dragon Blend gummy

Koi headlines the total and the two main THC figures, which is more than many competitors do. What it does not headline is the THCP quantity, and that is the number that would tell you most about how hard this gummy hits. THCP binds far more strongly than delta-9 does, so even a couple of milligrams changes the picture materially. How strong 125mg really is

For context: a standard hemp delta-9 gummy is 10mg. A dispensary edible in a legal-cannabis state is typically capped at 10mg per piece for exactly this reason. Koi’s own delta-9 gummy is 10mg of THC buffered with 20mg of CBD.

The Dragon Blend has no CBD to soften it and roughly twelve times the total cannabinoid load, with a THCP component on top. Koi’s own marketing describes them as “for experienced users only” and that is not a pose. This is the sort of product that produces the experience described in our guide to taking too much THC if treated casually.

It also, unambiguously, shows on a drug test. There is no broad-spectrum hedge here at all.

How to dose these

The single most common mistake with any edible is redosing before the first dose has landed. Onset is 45 to 90 minutes and can be longer on a full stomach — see onset, peak and duration. Cut the gummy with a knife rather than estimating by eye; a quarter of a 125mg gummy is 31mg and a third is 42mg, and the difference is noticeable.

Value

A 20-count jar at $79.99 holds 2500mg of total cannabinoids, which is about 3.2¢ per milligram — among the cheapest cannabinoid Koi sells. That figure flatters the product, though, because most of the mass is delta-8, which is inherently less potent per milligram than delta-9. Judge it on effect rather than on arithmetic.

Because the blend is delta-8 dominant, it inherits the delta-8 restriction list.
