MONTKUSH is a Vermont hemp brand that does something most of its competitors do not: it grows the plant. The company runs its own USDA-certified-organic farm in Plainfield, founded in 2019 by Anthony Sullivan, and presses select flower using a solventless rosin process it describes with a fruit-juice metaphor — squeeze it fresh rather than pull it out with chemicals.
The catalogue splits into three lines. True Daily is everyday CBD, True Vibe is hemp-derived Delta-9 THC, and True Sleep is a CBN-led range that includes the highest single CBN dose we have reviewed anywhere.
The farm story is real and verifiable. The extraction story is more complicated than the marketing suggests, and we get into that below — along with the three states MONTKUSH will not ship to.
The Short Verdict
MONTKUSH is the strongest sleep brand on this site. The True Sleep Advanced softgels deliver 20mg of CBN per capsule — around ten times what a typical sleep gummy contains — plus a rare 5mg of CBDV, with THC at non-detectable levels. Nobody else we have reviewed comes close on that specific metric.
The rest of the range is solid rather than exceptional. The True Vibe Delta-9 gummies are well-designed and well-reviewed at 4.9 from 235 ratings, and the 2000mg True Daily oil is genuinely good value at about 3.5 cents per milligram.
Two things to know before ordering. MONTKUSH does not ship to Idaho, Nebraska or South Dakota. And the returns policy is tighter than it looks: 30 days, but one item per order and unopened only.
The Farm and the "Fresh Squeezed" Claim
The Vermont farm is not marketing dressing. MONTKUSH holds USDA organic certification for its Plainfield land, describes hand-transplanting its crop, and has run the operation since 2019. Among the brands we cover, owning the farm is genuinely rare — most are extraction companies buying biomass, or marketing companies buying finished product.
The "fresh squeezed" positioning refers to a solventless rosin press: heat and pressure applied to select flower rather than a chemical solvent wash. It is a legitimate premium method.
Where we would push back is on consistency. Not every product uses it. Some SKUs are described as CO2-extracted, and the flagship 2000mg True Daily oil is explicitly CBD isolate — about as far from whole-flower rosin as it is possible to get. That is not dishonest, but if the farm-pressed story is what drew you in, check the product page before assuming it applies to what you are buying.
One claim we could not verify
We found no page on MONTKUSH’s own site describing living-soil cultivation, despite that term appearing in third-party write-ups. Their about page describes hand-transplanting and USDA organic certification only. We have not repeated the living-soil claim here.

Why the Sleep Range Stands Out
