Grow method before percentage
Indoor, greenhouse and outdoor flower differ in appearance, terpene retention and price far more than a THCA percentage suggests. We weight grow method heavily.
Coated products are judged separately
Snow caps and diamond-dusted flower are coated with kief or isolate. A 77% coated product is not comparable to a 22% indoor bud, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Price per gram, not per pack
Pack sizes vary. We convert to price per gram before comparing anything, which reorders the list quite a bit.
Batch-specific lab reports
A certificate of analysis matching the batch on your pack is what counts. We note in each review whether one is published.

THCA flower FAQs
What is THCA flower?
Hemp flower whose cannabinoid content is mostly THCA, the acidic precursor to Delta 9 THC. Because it is tested raw and stays at or below 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight before heating, it is sold as hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill.
Does THCA flower work like normal cannabis flower?
Botanically it is the same plant, and applying heat converts THCA to Delta 9 THC. What differs is the legal framework and the fact that the product is tested before that conversion happens.
What are snow caps or snowcaps?
Flower coated in kief or THCA isolate, which pushes the labelled percentage well above the underlying buds. Bloomz Hemp and Utoya both sell versions.
Is a higher THCA percentage better?
Not necessarily. Percentage says nothing about terpene content, cure quality or how the flower actually smokes, and coated products inflate the figure. We would take good indoor flower at 22% over mediocre coated flower at 77%.
Can THCA flower be shipped to my state?
Not everywhere. Several states restrict hemp THC products including THCA flower, and brand exclusion lists change often. Check the brand’s shipping page before you order.
