How we ranked these THCA pre-rolls
Cost per joint, not pack price
A $119.99 jar of 50 is far cheaper per joint than a $9.99 pack of two. Pack price on its own is close to meaningless in this category.
Infused and plain are judged separately
Diamond-infused pre-rolls have concentrate added before rolling and test much higher. We do not rank them head to head against plain flower pre-rolls on strength.
Pack size versus freshness
Ground flower dries out faster than whole buds. A 50-count jar is only good value if you finish it, which is why the mid-size 7-count pack ranks well.
What is actually in the paper
Bulk jars are often filled with smaller buds or shake. That is not automatically worse, but it is a different product from a single-strain pre-roll and we say so.

THCA pre-roll FAQs
What is a THCA pre-roll?
A pre-rolled joint filled with hemp flower whose cannabinoid content is mostly THCA. The flower stays at or below 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight before heating, which is what allows it to be sold as hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill.
What does diamond-infused mean?
THCA diamonds are a crystalline concentrate added to the flower before rolling. Infused pre-rolls test considerably higher than plain ones, and we would not suggest them as a starting point.
Are 50-count jars worth it?
Per joint they are the cheapest option by a wide margin. Whether that is real value depends on how quickly you use them, since pre-ground flower degrades faster than whole buds.
Do pre-rolls contain shake?
Often, particularly in bulk jars. Brands rarely state it explicitly. Where a product is sold as single-strain whole-flower we note that in the review; where it is not stated, we say so.
Can pre-rolls be shipped to my state?
Not everywhere. Several states restrict hemp THC products including THCA flower and pre-rolls, and brand exclusion lists change frequently. Check the brand’s shipping page before ordering.
Pre-rolls or loose flower?
Loose flower is cheaper per gram and usually better quality for the money. Pre-rolls buy convenience. Our THCA flower collection covers the alternative.
