Koi prints a milligram number on every product, and that number means something different on a balm than it does on a tincture or a gummy jar. This is every strength Koi currently sells, what each one works out to per milligram, and how to pick without overpaying.
The short answer
The number on a Koi label is the total CBD in the whole container, not the amount in one dose. A 3000mg balm is not three times stronger than a 1000mg tincture — it is a different product with a different amount of active per use. Compare products within a format, never across formats.
Within a format, the bigger number is almost always the better deal. Koi's price per milligram falls steeply as strength rises: the 150mg balm costs 13.3 cents per milligram, the 3000mg balm costs 3.3 cents. That is a four-fold difference for the same ingredient.

Looking for Koi 250mg? It does not exist any more
A lot of people still search for Koi CBD in 250mg, and there is a reason for that. Koi's original CBD vape juice was sold in 250mg, 500mg and 1000mg bottles, and for several years that was the product the brand was known for. That line is gone. Koi no longer sells CBD e-liquid in any strength, and nothing in the current catalogue carries a 250mg label.
If 250mg is what you are after, the honest answer depends on what you were using it for. Why the milligram number is not the dose
This is the single most common mistake in buying CBD, and Koi's own labelling does not go out of its way to prevent it.
Tinctures: divide by 30
The Koi Naturals tincture is 1000mg in a 30ml bottle. That is roughly 33mg per millilitre, or about 8mg in a quarter-dropper. The 1000mg on the label is a month of doses, not one.
Gummies: read per piece, not per jar
Anytime Balance is 10mg per gummy and Koi lists a serving as two gummies, so a serving is 20mg. Complete is 25mg per gummy. A 3000mg jar of Complete and a 600mg jar of Anytime Balance differ by count and per-piece strength at once.
Topicals: the number is spread over the jar
A 3000mg balm does not put 3000mg on your knee. It is a concentration figure across the whole tin, and you use a fingertip at a time. This is why the big topical numbers look dramatic and cost so little per milligram.

One caveat on the cheap-per-milligram logic
Price per milligram is the right way to compare two sizes of the same product. It is a poor way to choose a product. A 3000mg balm is excellent value and completely useless if what you needed was something to take before bed. Pick the format for the job first, then buy the largest size of that format you will realistically get through, because CBD does degrade and a jar you finish in three years is not a bargain.
Strengths Koi does not sell
Worth knowing before you go looking. Koi has no 250mg product, no 3000mg tincture, and no CBD oil below 1000mg — the Naturals tincture is sold at exactly one strength in five flavours. There is no 2000mg or 5000mg anything. The 3000mg Full Spectrum Balm is the highest CBD number on any Koi product.
The single-strength tincture is the most unusual of these. Most brands ladder their oils across three or four strengths so buyers can start low. Koi decided one bottle at 33mg per millilitre covers it, and lets you dose down with the dropper instead. It works, but it does mean the entry price for Koi CBD oil is $69.99 rather than the $25 a 250mg starter bottle would cost elsewhere.
