What a milligram figure tells you

A milligram figure describes an amount of a substance. The label should make clear whether that amount refers to the full container, one item, or a stated serving. Those are different quantities.

Concentration adds another piece of information: the amount relative to a volume or weight. A package total without that denominator is not, by itself, a concentration. Likewise, a total for a blend should not be described as though all of it were CBD.

A label serving is not individual medical advice

A manufacturer's serving is a labeling convention. It does not establish an appropriate dose for every reader. A container's total also does not tell you how many days it should last unless a usage schedule is specified; this article should not assume one.
